Keep Calm, Everyone

Keep calm. I am telling myself that as much as I can lately. With so much going on in our lives, many of us tend to feel overwhelmed by it all. I have a lot on my plate between family, work, and other obligations, however, I have found that humor helps me get through the really rough days. Whether chatting with a friend about nothing in particular or hearing my children say something funny, laughter eases away the stress that I may be feeling. With all of this being said, yes, I am beginning a new blog.

I was tweeting with my friend and Disney Parks Moms Panel sister, Jane, who happens to be our U.K. mum this year, and she gave me a brilliant idea.

I often fantasize about visiting the U.K. and decided to take an online quiz to determine Which English County Should You Actually Live In? After I took the quiz I started tweeting with dear Jane, and realized that my first results were too far from her part of England. I took the quiz a second time and got an English County just 40 minutes away from Jane.

After discussing my family moving to the U.K. so we can become neighbours, #BritBob was soon hooked on becoming British. This is where Brit Bob's Brilliant British Blog comes in. This new blog will be a place for me to share humorous tales and have a smashing good time online. Thank you, Jane, for inspiring this wonderful new side. I've got our #DisneySide down, now it's time for me to find my #BritishSide.

*Keep Calm and Carry On was a motivational poster produced by the British government in 1939, several months before the beginning of the Second World War, intended to raise the morale of the British public in the aftermath of widely predicted mass air attacks on major cities. It had only limited distribution with no public display, and thus was little known. It was rediscovered in 2000, has been re-issued by a number of private companies, and has been used as the decorative theme for a range of products.
